Ellie Angerame '13

Campus Representative

Picture
Ellie has been singing with the Wheatones since Fall 2010. She is a Visual Socio-Anthropology major with a minor in English. She is a tour guide, member of Programming Council, the treasurer of the Wheaton Women's Ice Hockey team and dabbles in Aftertaste. She is an old woman trapped in a twenty-one-year-old's body and would love to discuss gardening, composting and history with you. Or craft something. She's a sucker for arts & crafts. Past solos include "Stacey's Mom".

Sara Cressey '13

Picture
Sara has been singing with the Wheatones since Fall 2009. She is an Anthropology major with a minor in Religion. She is also a writing tutor. Sara's favorite color is green, and her favorite dinosaur is a triceratops (because when she was younger, she thought the word had her name in it). Past solos include "Say" and "Zak and Sara".

Bailey McWilliams '14

Bailey has been singing with the Wheatones since Spring 2011. Apart from Wheatones, she is Vice Chair of Programming Council and a swim instructor at the Attleboro YMCA. Bailey is a double major in International Relations and Hispanic Studies. When she's not hard at work keeping starbucks in business, you may be able to find her meandering around, whistling a little Irish diddy ever so softly into the breeze. Past solos include "Soul Meets Body".

Siv Anderson '14

Picture
Siv has been singing with the Wheatones since Fall 2012, and has assumed the role of in-house cephalopod consultant/octopus whisperer. She is a Music major, and is also a member of Best Buds and the Lymin' Lyons. Her favorite animals are the pangolin and the flamboyant cuttlefish. Ask her about them anytime! Seriously. Anytime. Siv feels most comfortable near pianos, fruit trees, and great danes. Accordingly, when she grows up she aspires to become David Bowie and/or a blackcurrant shrubbery.
Past solos include "Thrift Shop".

Mollie Lane '14
BABY TONE!!

Picture
Mollie has been singing in the Wheatones since Spring of 2013. She is a Sociology major with a Business and Management minor. Apart from Wheatones, Mollie does Women's indoor and outdoor track and field, and she is a WAM (Wheaton Athletic Mentor).

Emily Galos '15
Technological Liaison

Picture
The (self proclaimed) female Andy Samberg, Emily enjoys whales, inappropriate jokes, cats, singing songs that aren't in the Wheatones' repertoire, and impersonating Nigel Thornberry. She has been a member of the Wheatones since Fall 2011, when she was yanked from her room without pants and made to sing at slype. Emily is a Psychology major, a dance minor, and a member of Dance Company, all of which aided her well in her role of Natalie Portman's dance double in "Black Swan". Past solos include "Stacy's Mom" and "Thrift Shop".

Courtney Gilman '15

Picture
Courtney has been singing with the Wheatones since Fall 2011. She is a double major in International Relations and Women's Studies with a minor in German. Apart from Wheatones, she is Vice President of the Class of 2015, a tour guide, and a member of WOW. Courtney's favorite color is purple, and she can be heard singing Journey and Taylor Swift songs as loudly as possible at any time of the day. Past solos include "Love is a Battlefield" and "Soul Meets Body".

Alyssa Reed '16

Picture
Alyssa has been singing with the Wheatones (her second family) since Fall 2012. Although currently undeclared, Alyssa plans to major in psychology with a minor in education. When she’s not knitting or crafting, you can find her drinking tea, watching Disney movies with friends, or baking up a storm. Alyssa is the queen of dawdling, and rather than breadcrumbs, she often leaves behind a trail of accidentally forgotten jackets, keys and water bottles. She loves being outdoors, and finding adventures wherever she goes.

Sylvia Okoye '13

President

Picture
Sylvia has been singing with the Wheatones since Fall 2009. She is a double major in History and Anthropology. Sylvia is also a member of Wheaton's Track team. Past solos include "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy", "Chicago", "The Other Side", and "Kiss from a Rose".

Emily Conklin '13

Picture
Emily has been singing with the Wheatones since Fall 2009. Emily is a biology and French double major, intending to become a marine biologist so that she can play with the whales. She enjoys singing any chance she can get and cuddling daily. Her favorite dinosaur is the velociraptor, as evidenced by the omnipresence of her dino hands. If you see her around campus, she will most likely greet you with a meow, growl, and/or nose nuzzle. She's quite friendly and at some point will definitely offer to show you her turtle. Which is not a euphemism for anything. She really has a turtle.

Kirsten Russell '13

Picture

Kirsten has been singing with the Wheatones since Spring 2011. She is a Psychology major with a minor in Theater. Apart from Wheatones, Kirsten plays Varsity field hockey, and she is a WAM (Wheaton Athletic Mentor). Past solos include "C'est La Vie".

Nina Sasser '14

Picture
Nina has been singing with the Wheatones since Fall 2010. She is a psychology major with a minor in Hispanic studies. In her spare
moments, Nina enjoys playing guitar, snuggling with her sheep stuffed animals, and watching the Titanic as often as possible. Past solos include "Love is a Battlefield".

Kayla Allen '14

Picture
Kayla has been singing with the Wheatones since Fall 2010. She is an Ancient Studies major with a double minor in Greek and Art History. She is president of Norton Youth Theater, and she likes to play Nancy Drew computer games in her spare time! Past solos include "She's a Maniac".

Alex van den Heever '14
Studying Abroad Spring '13

Picture
Alex has been singing with the Wheatones since Spring 2012. She is an Islamic Studies Major. Alex is a homebody whose only wish in life is to grow up to be Beyonce, or at least Beyonce's personal assistant. Most days you will catch her in the act of eating or people-watching - or a risky combination of both. Alex loves the color yellow, ketchup, and the satisfaction that only comes from spelling a hard word correctly. Hobbies include petting cheetahs, running with cheetahs, and Googling pictures of cheetahs.

Elizabeth Peterson '15
Business Manager

Picture
Elizabeth's favorite word is 'syzygy' and she has been singing with the Wheatones since Fall 2011. She is also fond of non sequiturs. When she isn’t busy correcting someone’s grammar, Elizabeth can be found professing her love for ankylosaurus, cats, Sherlock Holmes, basketry, and the Wheatones. Elizabeth has vague plans to one day open a tea shop where she will sell tea, cupcakes, cool hats, and good books. She decided that on the chance this dream becomes a reality, she would advertise it here. She would like to quote the immortal Calvin and Hobbes cartoonist Bill Watterson and pose the question, “What fun is it being cool if you can’t wear a sombrero?” Past solos include "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy".

Elizabeth Lewis '15

Picture
Elizabeth has been Tonin' since Fall 2012. Elizabeth is a Medieval/Renaissance English major, and when she isn't translating obscure Medieval texts, she can be found star gazing at practically any hour of the night. Along with being a member of the Wheatones, Elizabeth is an Ambassador for Wheaton Admissions. When she grows up she wants to live in a tree house and either be a Jedi Master, or a Disney princess (because there really isn't much difference between the two). Past solos include "Cosmic Love".

Selin Ashaboglu '15
BABY TONE!!

Picture
Selin has been singing with the Wheatones since Spring 2013.

Avery Royster '16

Picture
Avery has been singing with the Wheatones since Fall 2012. While undeclared, she is in "strong like" with Anthropology and Law (as opposed to being in love- which she is with Nutella). Avery is very friendly and always telling jokes. She would love to discuss basketball with you and she has a strong infatuation with animal print.
